4月6日，新华社消息，4月3日至5日，中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理、中美全面经济对话中方牵头人刘鹤与美国贸易代表莱特希泽、财政部长姆努钦在华盛顿共同主持第九轮中美经贸高级别磋商。
新华社称，双方讨论了技术转让、知识产权保护、非关税措施、服务业、农业、贸易平衡、实施机制等协议文本，取得新的进展。双方决定就遗留的问题通过各种有效方式进一步磋商。
今天美国驻华大使馆在微信公众号称，根据唐纳德·J·特朗普总统的指示，美国贸易代表罗伯特·莱特海泽和财政部长斯蒂芬·马努钦在2019年四月三日至五日欢迎了中国的刘鹤副总理和一个中方代表团，进行贸易谈判。
谈判的主题包括知识产权、强制技术转移、非关税壁垒、农业、服务、采购以及执行。美国和中国进行了富有成效的会谈，在诸多关键议题上取得进展。重要的工作依然存在，而牵头人们、副部长们和代表团成员们将继续接触，以解决悬而未决的问题。

Statement from the Press Secretary Regarding the Administration’s Trade Talks with China
At President Donald J. Trump’s direction, United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin welcomed Chinese Vice Premier Liu He and a Chinese delegation for negotiations on trade from April 3 to April 5, 2019.
The subjects of the negotiation included intellectual property, forced technology transfer, non-tariff barriers, agriculture, services, purchases, and enforcement. The United States and China had productive meetings and made progress on numerous key issues. Significant work remains, and the principals, deputy ministers, and delegation members will be in continuous contact to resolve outstanding issues.
